劉曹美蘭宅(Residence of Liu Tsao Mei-Lan)
原屋主為漁民,雨天無法出海時,會在家中說書,吸引鄰近家戶前來聆聽。國軍進駐後,也曾經營過雜貨店與撞球生意,大浦的孩子也會前來打球,甚至找阿兵哥過招,付不出錢時,就聽屋主講人生大道理來折抵消費。
The original house owner, a fisherman, used to appeal to audience of storytelling
at home from households in the vicinity in days boats were unable to put to sea
in wet weather. Following the garrisons of the Republic of China Armed Forces,
it was once also a grocery store with pool room where Dapu kids hung out and
gamed with soldier boys; the broke could opt in to the house owner’s lectures on life to cover the expenses.
2009年藝術家蔡英傑來到大浦駐村,使用本地撿拾的貝殼、瓦片、浮球等素材,拼貼出壁畫「起帆」:白馬狀的雲朵奔騰,守望著在海上討生活的漁民,封火山牆造型的廟宇則庇佑著世世代代子民。
In 2009, artist-in-residence Cai Ying-jie creates the ‘Pulling the Sails Up’ collage which depicts fishermen at sea are under watch of a galloping white horse-shaped cloud and people for generations are blessed by a Fire Stopping Gable-shaped temple from shells, tiles, and buoys in the locality
